It’s a new day!

A new host – a new domain to live on – and almost the Witches New Year!

I spent the day today picking up the last bits and bobs for my costume – a sort of post-Apocalyptic Punk inspired by Viper on the movie Doomsday.

Once I was home, home on the range again (always with a great sigh of relief) I sat down and finished my Word Inchies for swap-bot. Imagine, me with a swap ready more than 10 days before it has to be sent! Try not to faint. Long as I was on a roll, I went through the several PILES around my desk, made sure I had rated everyone for ATCs I had recieved, and as long as I was at it, went through and archived some swaps, checked to make sure I had recieved swaps, stuff like that – and (tada) set up my very first swap EVER.

So, if you are a swapper check out:

I swap with Swap-bot!

I tend to think if you are here, you know this, but I have a new cyberhome – SummerFeyFoovay.com. Other than this blog, you won’t find a lot of content here. It is intended to be a centralized directory to all my websites (adult and mainstream), places to buy my art (like Etsy and Zazzle) or read my stories (mostly in blogs), as well as social site profiles (like MySpace), and other homes on the web (like, Swap-bot, fer instance).

This blog, OTH, will probably have very nearly daily entries with all my current life and webby activities. Like Swaps, ATCs and ACEOs, stories, and website building. The business with Dreamhost was quite a blow, but I was in the process of transitioning to a different sort of business profile anyway. This gives me a chance to almost start over – without having to quite begin at zero.

I have another project in the works – some ACEOs to be sold on eBay to benefit Angel Acres, a non-profit horse rescue. What I did was print out three each of six of my own favorite horse coloring pages from Color-Your-Own.com. I am going to hand-color each of them, and put them up at auction. The first one is finished – a black bay warmblood stallion showing off his best trot. I’ll get a photo of him tomorrow, and get him listed on eBay – look for the auction link here.

While I was at it, I noticed there is quite a variation in the quality of the coloring pages, due to the fact that over time I became better at making them, and also had better equipment as far as the tablet and software. One of my major projects will be to add a new coloring page (or two or three) and also update a few of the older ones every week. Right now there is a blog for Color-Your-Own.com over at blogger, but for some reason I cannot get the feed to work to make a widget. When I move Color-Your-Own over to the same hosting as this domain (it is on a different host, which I’ve decided I do not like) I will also set up another blog – and will link and all from here at that time. Since Color-Your-Own.com is currently up and working, I’m going to let it wait while I work on getting other sites, which have been and still are down, back into shape.

I have a huge new project in mind, Foovay’s Floozies. I’ll tell you more about them when I’ve got them set up. I’m taking wonderful old turn of the century vintage erotic photos and playing with them (for lack of a better description), adding color, texture, and other details. I hope to make them available for sale both as ACEOs and possibly as larger prints. During November, I will be writing stories about the ladies in the photos (I already have some fun ideas) as my Nanowrimo novel. If it turns out to be as much fun as I suspect it will be, I will expand the stories and give the gals a blog of their own. I’m thinking stories of a “steampunk” sort of genre.

Meanwhile, Demented-Pixie.com will be set up for fairies, pixies, mermaids and other fey created from vintage erotica photos, again selling prints and ACEOs, and having a blog full of stories.

Now I am going to treat these two sites like they are adult sites. They are on adult hosting and I will have warnings. Perhaps I am paranoid, but I would just rather not argue with people about where the line is between art nudes, erotica, and porn. I feel it is a waste of time. Sex is a part of life, we all have a body and we’ve all seen naked people (I should hope anyway) so I find the whole “controversy” ridiculous, and a waste of my time. Still, I prefer to be considerate of people who chose to avoid the sight of human flesh – however silly I may think they are. So there you are.

I haven’t quite decided what my other two old adult domains are going to be like. Yet. See, they really needed some housecleaning.

As far as mainstream, fre-ecards is of course, gone. Ask Me Anything blog is also gone. I know, I was going to keep it up, but after a lot of thought I have to admit there are only so many hours in the day and I’d really rather be working on some of the newer projects.

I’m still not a Giant Squid, and I want to be. You know I was reading on one of their blogs the other day where someone made $500 in one day just on Squid lenses! *blink* DAYUM I want to set up some story blogs, both adult and mainstream. I want to sell art. Sure, I still love doing research. I have several writing projects currently in process that are going to take a LOT of research.

I still want to get “Moving On” republished, as well as “Cutting Away the Pain” and some other long stories or novelettes that are finished.

So many things I want to do, so little time. As we turn into the darker part of the year I am looking forward to studying, doing research, and taking my time to rebuild my cyber-empire based more than ever on my own creativity.

I hope you choose to hang in with me, and be part of it.

Blessedbe
