6 Nov 2008Yep – I finally ran around my asshole to my elbow and uploaded just over 40 photos to my Flickr account.
Just quickly – let me mention that this Horse art ACEO:

is currently listed at auction on eBay – right here – and 95% of the purchase price goes to Angel Acres Horse Haven Rescue.
I had fun Halloween – and here’s the result:
The rest of the photos are mainly of our recent roadtrip to the Gila National Forest, and Silver City. Later today I hope to write up a Squidoo lens about it – but meanwhile, enjoy the photos!
And last, but hardly least, I took this photo last night as I was standing in the barn, listening to the old horse chomp on his grain. There is a gate I close between the two horses when I feed, so Her Royal Horseyness (as we call her) doesn’t come push Moses off his senior feed. However, it also cuts Moses off from the big water trough. So I usually hang out in the barn until he is done with his grain, then go out and open the gate. It’s this wonderful bit of quiet time – all the animals are fed and ready for bedtime. It is quiet, except for maybe the Cottontop Quail calling from the top of a bush. And I get to watch this wonderful sunset…

I got things worked out on the Cyberwurx hosted blogs (some permissions got changed when they installed WP for me and didn’t get changed back) so I will be working on those, on Squidoo, Nano-ing of course, and BEST OF ALL I got two of the three collections of vintage erotica I ordered in last night. I browsed for hours – I’ll never use all this stuff – and there is some wonderful stuff here! One of them has over 100 photos of Josephine Baker. Yeah, I’m a big Josephine Baker fan! SO – once I get some other things done, I will probably create a floozy or two! Whoot!
I also plan to get to Swap-bot and get some of those swaps ready to go. Tomorrow I’ll be going to town – payday – so I’ll be able to mail them out. Perhaps I will actually get my shit together and not forget any that have to go out before next payday this time! I also have to find some spa-themed postcards. You would think in this beautiful little town that was built around the healing hot springs and where we still have a vibrant hot springs district, someone would have a postcard to promote them. If I don’t find some, I am going to make my own. I’ve seen some photos around of the springs back in the early 1900s when they were still truly natural baths that I could use. Or I could go take photos of some of the spa houses and make a collage…hmmm…speaking of which I need to do a Squidoo lens on the springs, too.
So much to do, so little time. But I’m pretty proud of what I’ve done so far today.
Have a good day!
