I know, the month is half over. But I got to looking the other day at some stats – actually, some income totals and I’m close enough to want to try and hit two goals this month.

One – I would like, between Project Wonderful Ads and Squidoo, to come up with enough by the end of the month to make my first Kiva loan of $25.00. I’m up to over $18 at Project Wonderful (only took a couple years), and Squidoo just paid me $13(WOW that’s over $30 from them this year!). Mind you, out of that I’ve got to hold back enough to pay my hosting for next month. But I’m pretty close.

This is slightly threatened by my desire to once again attempt putting up a few ads for The River Way through Project Wonderful. I’m going to rewrite my Squidoo lens promoting the book and take a totally different direction. Basically, I’m going to stop downplaying the sex, incest, abuse, homelessness, and so on and instead focus on it. Same thing for the ads.

The second goal is to earn $60 this month through Adsense – so that the next check from them will be over $150. That is enough to purchase the ecard program so I can put Fre-ecards.com back on line. If my purpose in life is to spread beauty and harmony, that website was certainly the fulfillment of my purpose.

So far, the only ecard software I have found is an update of the last software I had. I’m not sure that is what I want to purchase – since the problem with the old program was that once it was installed the company wouldn’t even bother with an autoreply to requests for support. So when I lost my host and had to move the site – that was it. I couldn’t reinstall and they never replied to my requests. This does not make me want to give them another $150. There has to be another ecard program out there.

Hubby is determined to distract me and get me outdoors. I’m in a really down mood today after a run in at work yesterday so he’s probably right – I should get outside on the ranch.

However, I think I’ll be back on the computer later. If nothing else, the run in at work reminded me how NOT my life that job is. If only maybe someday I could actually live on the income from my art and writing… (sorry, I can’t live on $30 a month yet but I’m trying)
