Wildfires are in the news again here in New Mexico. Even though the weather outside is pretty nice, I’m not able to get out and go kayaking or hiking. You can actually see the smoke from my front door and even a few minutes of exertion outside is enough to make you feel like there’s an anvil on your chest. My thanks go out to the brave wild land firefighters, and my heart goes out to those who are in danger or who have been evacuated from their homes. Guess as long as I’m stuck inside today, I’ll work a jigsaw puzzle or maybe color a bit.
Deadly, but beautiful – here is a jigsaw puzzle featuring a photo of a wildfire that you can work here, or on your Kindle, or Android device.
Wild fires are a natural part of the life of a forest. You will enjoy these beautiful jigsaw puzzles featuring a forest path, and some common forest animals. You can even buy one of them instantly for your Android device.
The Universe foisted a new kitten on us last month – and of course, he knows that it is all about him. Bogey has insinuated himself into every aspect of our lives and jigsaw puzzles are no longer safe.
He is very sure he could work it all out a lot faster than the humans, but what can you do? I don’t have a photo of Bogey that is nice and clear yet – so I grabbed this beautiful photo of kittens from the Wikimedia Commons to create a kitten jigsaw puzzle for you to enjoy on your Kindle, computer, or Android device.
If you think you can keep the pieces safe – here is a pretty “real” jigsaw puzzle of a pile of kittens (we had to resort to putting the puzzle table in the shower stall when we weren’t working on it!)
Did you know that the first jigsaw puzzles were maps cut into pieces to help children learn geography? Maps are still popular jigsaw puzzle subjects. You will enjoy this lovely old world map jigsaw puzzle for your computer, kindle, or android device.
If you need a more modern and more physical world map jigsaw puzzle – this is the one for you!
Many famous American artists have spent most of the career painting the desert scenery of the Southwest. Why is it then, that you cannot find any jigsaw puzzles with the beautiful landscapes of my adopted home? When Zazzle first began offering jigsaw puzzles I was very excited to be able to add my and my husbands photographs of this area to puzzles for ourselves and others to enjoy. Today I am excited to offer you this electronic jigsaw puzzle for your Kindle or other Android device with a photo of a yellow bloom on a prickly pear cactus – that I took on my walk today.
The Zazzle jigsaw puzzles have not sold as well as I would like, so I have fallen down on the job of creating them a bit – but I couldn’t resist sharing one with this beautiful yellow prickly pear bloom. If you purchase the puzzle in the gift box – the box itself is a wonderful tin that would be perfect for a gift, or to save and use for cookies or knickknacks.

If you are on a Kindle fire or other android device, just double click on the jigsaw puzzle to work it.

This is a beautiful design with the American flag and the slogan, “Freedom isn’t free” I’ve made into a jigsaw puzzle you can work on your Kindle Fire or other Android device. I cannot find the original source of this American flag image – but given the logo in the corner perhaps the National Guard has released it into the public domain. It is also available from many web sites as free wallpaper for your computer. Please enjoy this beautiful American flag image for your Memorial Day puzzle!
If you are looking for a physical jigsaw puzzle – this is a real beauty of a jigsaw puzzle honoring our Veterans.
On Memorial Day we celebrate our armed forces, those who have given their lives in defense of the country, as well as other loved ones we have lost. While you contemplate, give thanks, and share great memories, I hope you also enjoy this jigsaw puzzle on your Kindle or android device, or computer featuring a naval officer handing the American flag to another naval officer.

Today is International Day for Biological Diversity – and this years theme is Water and Biodiversity. Recently, the delightful Arkive animal website had a contest to discover the most beloved animal on the planet. The winner was the Kakapo, a critically endangered New Zealand parrot. The Kakapo is unique in many ways, being the heaviest, and only flightless parrot and nocturnal besides. You can see some very endearing photos and videos of this amazing creature at the Arkive website linked above. The Kakapo jigsaw puzzle is made with a public domain painting of the Kakapo found on the Wikicommons website. Enjoy this jigsaw puzzle on your Kindle or computer!
New Zealand is also justly known for it’s beautiful landscapes – which you may have delighted in while watching the LOTR movies. If you are looking for a physical jigsaw puzzle, the beauty of this New Zealand waterfall jigsaw puzzle would be hard to beat!
