Wildfires are in the news again here in New Mexico. Even though the weather outside is pretty nice, I’m not able to get out and go kayaking or hiking. You can actually see the smoke from my front door and even a few minutes of exertion outside is enough to make you feel like there’s an anvil on your chest. My thanks go out to the brave wild land firefighters, and my heart goes out to those who are in danger or who have been evacuated from their homes. The Universe foisted a new kitten on us last month – and of course, he knows that it is all about him. Bogey has insinuated himself into every aspect of our lives and jigsaw puzzles are no longer safe.
