The truth ought to be. However, the truth is that it may be manipulated to match different agendas. Detective Harry Bosch understands about the truth, which plays a very significant part in the exciting 20th outing along with his perennial hero of Michael Connelly.

Since Bosch muses, “… there have been two types of truth in this world. The truth that has been that the bedrock of somebody’s mission and own life. Two local pharmacists who were father and son’s implementation murder pulls Harry and the department to a crime syndicate which utilizes the homeless to daily gather.

When Harry and his spouse helped convict killer Preston Borders, who is on death 27, the case began.

New DNA testing appears to show that Preston wasn’t the killer, and the suggestion is that either Harry or his spouse planted signs.

The case has far-reach ramifications. It would not only threaten his “public reputation and private self-worth,” but could place his previous cases in doubt.

If that occurred, “it would throw him adrift.”

Superbly builds the 2 plots, making every storyline smooth and smooth.

Connelly avoids the cliché of linking the 2 cases, maintaining each when allowing Harry to be thinking about both.

A sense of urgency imbues every – the tablet mill plot because of the current catastrophe that’s from the news, but the stakes are high from the case. And Harry isn’t very likely to provide either case less than his all.

“Two types of Truth” also touches on parenting — over anything Harry would like to have his daughter’s respect — and the institutional knowledge that a longtime professional like Harry brings.

Harry’s compassion concerning the people pulled to proceed the pills adds an excess depth when he sets his feelings.

This year has attracted a double dose of Connelly, who found a new show about Los Angeles detective Renée Ballard at “The Late Show,” published during July. And today we’ve “Two types of Truth.”

It’s become an refrain — but Connelly is one of the finest mystery writers. And that’s the truth.
